Heather Champion began her online career at 16, spending afternoons behind a computer screen, teaching herself how to build and run a variety of websites. Originally fascinated by website graphics and design, her interest shifted to search engine optimization while working at a start up in San Diego in 2007. Heather moved back home to Seattle in 2009, where she met Vanessa Fox.
As a Search Analyst at Nine By Blue, Heather performs tactical research and analysis to compile sustainable search acquisition strategies, both from a technical and content perspective. She continues to grow her skill set by leveraging her direct access to industry experts within Nine By Blue, and others who will accept her bribes.
Heather holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology from the University of Washington where she focused on the study of urban society and American cultural trends. She is sure to leave time for the little things in life such as crafting things, board games and watching kitty videos.
