Coming Soon: An All New Nine By Blue and Jane and Robot

Nine By Blue and Jane and Robot have always been about providing solid, foundational information about building best practices for organic search acquisition: understanding audience needs and building content and product strategies to delight those audiences, straightforward advice about technical site architecture and analytics, and facts about how search engines work without any speculation.

And we’re just getting started. A whole new Nine By Blue and Jane and Robot are coming soon. Brought to you by:

Vanessa Fox | @vanessafox

Vanessa Fox, called a “cyberspace visionary” by Seattle Business Monthly, is an expert in understanding customer acquisition from organic search. She’s an entrepreneur-in-residence with Ignition Partners, Contributing Editor at Search Engine Land, and host of the weekly podcast Office Hours. She previously created Google’s Webmaster Central, which provides both tools and community to help website owners improve their sites to gain more customers from search and was instrumental in the sitemaps.org alliance of Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft Live Search. She was named one of Seattle’s 2008 top 25 innovators and entrepreneurs. Her book, Marketing in the Age of Google, provides a blueprint for incorporating search strategy into organizations of all levels. She started Nine By Blue and Jane and Robot to help integrate organic search into how we think about traditional marketing, product development, and web development. She believes marketing is about building things people want, not trying to get them to buy what you happen to be selling.

Laura Lippay@lauralippay
With an eye for the big picture and a history in optimizing enterprise properties for online visibility, Laura has focused on Search and Social strategy for some of the top brands on the internet, most recently as a Technical Marketing Director at Yahoo. A classic INTJ with a Clifton StrengthsFinder ‘Futurist’ top strength, Laura’s analytical brain is constantly applying the questions “what’s next?” and “does it work?” to every project. Additionally, Laura’s web development background lends a unique technical balance to her perspective on internet marketing, bridging gaps between marketing and development teams in order to provide a comprehensive solution to online visibility.

On the side, Laura follows the revolutionary technological innovations in biologically–embedded interfaces (such as Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI)) that will change the face of marketing communication in the near future.

Laura is a speaker at several marketing conferences, a member of the World Futurist Society, and an advisor to a nascent digital media company.
